Missionaries Share Their Experiences Following Haitian Earthquake

Patrick and Kim Bentrott, Global Ministries missionaries in Haiti, spoke to numerous staff and community persons on Feb. 10 at the Disciples Center in Indianapolis. The Bentrotts were in Haiti on Jan. 12 when a massive earthquake shook the country. Kim is a physician and teacher and is partnered with the National Spiritual Council of Churches of Haiti (CONASPEH), a grass-roots organization of Protestant churches and organizations that also assists with community education and health care. Patrick advises CONASPEH on theological education and diaconal projects and programs. The Bentrotts recently returned to the United States but hope to return to Haiti in the next several months.
